How DrivPrep collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Who we are
DrivPrep (“DrivPrep,” “we,” “our,” “us”) operates this website to provide educational study materials for the United States DMV written driving test. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with any government agency.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide: if you create an account or contact us, we collect your email address and any message content.
- Automatic information: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, pages visited, referring URL, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Subscription data: when DrivPrep Premium launches, our payment processor will collect billing data; we will receive only the metadata needed to provision your subscription.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use first- and third-party cookies for essential site function, analytics, and advertising. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling them may limit some functionality.
4. Advertising
The free version of DrivPrep is supported by advertising delivered through Google Ad Manager and its partners. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. 5. Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which study pages help users most. Analytics data is aggregated; we do not use it to identify individual users.
6. How we use information
- To provide and improve study materials and practice tests.
- To deliver and measure advertising in the free tier.
- To respond to support and feedback requests.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
7. Data security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention
We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter. Aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely. Contact privacy@drivprep.com to request deletion.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Submit requests to privacy@drivprep.com.
10. Children’s privacy
DrivPrep is intended for users old enough to study for a US learner’s permit. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
